lb cleaned and peeled potatoes - Yukon gold are an awesome choice here!

T. Hidden valley ranch dry dressing mix
1/4
C finely chopped onion
Directions

Clean and peel potatoes and cook until fork tender in lightly salted boiling water.

Get the rest ready before the potatoes are done, adding them to the potatoes while steamy hot and just drained is imperative!

In a large mixing bowl combine 4T. Hidden vally ranch dry dressing mix, 1 T. Ginger, 1 T. Dry Mustard and 4 T. Parmesan cheese. When thoroughly mixed, add 1/2 c.butter milk and wisk then add 3 T. mayonnaise and 2 T. sour cream. Then add 1/4 c. finely chopped onion and 3 T. minced garlic. MIX VERY WELL.

When potatoes are done, drain and transfer into separate mixing bowl, add Stick of butter and start mashing.

Once potatoes are broken down a bit, start adding previously concocted mixture a bit at a time while mashing until potatoes have reached a creamy consistency.

You may increase or decrease ingredients as taste necessitates and topping with shredded sharp cheddar and paprika for presentation is always a winner.
