Ingredients

1
pound pizza dough
8
ounces lean, ground beef
2
cups of shredded mozzarella
4
1/3 tsp. of extra-virgin olive oil
1
chopped red bell pepper
2
½ tsp. of paprika
1
tbsp. of sherry vinegar
Kosher salt and pepper for seasoning
Mixed greens

Directions

1.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F
2.
Divide the pizza dough into four portions.
3.
Cover with a towel and set aside.
4.
Saute ground beef in olive oil.
5.
Add salt, pepper and paprika.
6.
Cook for 15-20 or until browned.
7.
Add bell pepper, and cook for two more minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
8.
Roll each portion of the dough into round pieces with 8 inches diameter.
9.
Place the meat and the mozzarella on either side of the dough.
10.
Leave about ½ inch border on all sides.
11.
Fold the dough and crimp.
12.
Slit the dough.
13.
Brush with olive oil.
14.
Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
15.
Serve with a side of greens tossed in vinegar and seasoned with salt and pepper.
