Spinach Dip

Ingredients

package (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1
container (16 oz.) sour cream
1
cup Hellmans Real Mayonnaise
1
package Knorr Vegetable Soup, Dip and Recipe Mix
1
can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and chopped, (optional)
3
green onion(s), chopped, (optional)
1
round loaf Hawaiian bread

Directions

1.
In medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover and chill 2 hours to blend flavors. Stir before serving.

When ready to serve, cut the top off the loaf and scoop out the bread leaving only the bread shell, tear the excess bread into pieces for dipping and arrange around the loaf. Spoon in prepared dip.

VARIATIONS:

For Yogurt Spinach Dip...substitute 1 container (16 oz.) plain lowfat yogurt for sour cream.
5.
For Spinach and Cheese Dip...stir in 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese with spinach.
