c of vanilla pudding (you can either use little tubs or make instant)
2-3
c of chopped fruit (anything is fantastic here, I use bananas, strawberries and blueberries)
Whipped cream for garnish if desired

Take your milk and place in a small bowl. This will be used to gently soften the cookies. Get a large bowl for your trifle and slowly dip each cookie into the milk for a second and put a layer of cookie in the bowl, then pour enough pudding over the top to cover the cookies, and top the pudding with fruit. Repeat these layers until you run out, and allow to sit in the refrigerator, covered, for at LEAST 2 hours. Overnight is better, but sometimes you are pressed for time! When ready to serve, scoop into individual sized bowls and top with whipped cream! Kids love this!
