Ingredients

3
cups cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
2
eggs
1/4
cup milk
1/2
tsp salt
1
cup sugar
1
tsp vanilla
1/2
cup butter, melted
Topping:
1
cup brown sugar
1
cup chopped nuts (walnuts & pecans are my favorites for this dish)
1/2
cup flour
1/4
cup butter, melted

Directions

1.
Lightly grease a 2 qt. size casserole pan & preheat oven to 350 degrees (F). With an electric mixer in a large bowl, mix the first 7 ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Pour into casserole dish. In another small bowl, mix together the topping ingredients (by hand or with a fork, do not use mixer) The mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle over the sweet potato mixture and bake for 35-40 minutes or until firm and lightly browned on top.
