cloves of garlic minced

pounds beef cut into small cubes(1.5")

cups minced or mashed tomatoes

cups pitted and ripe olives, diced

Brown onion and garlic in hot salad oil, remove and brown beef. Add 1.5 tsps salt, 2 tbls chili powder, tomatoes, olives, raisins. Cook slowly for 1.5 hours. Add remaining salt and chili powder to water, slowly add corn meal, cook 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Line greased pie pan or baking dish with 1" layer or mush. Pour in meat filling. Spead remaining mush on top. Bake in oven at 325 for 1.5 hours. Sprinkle with cheese 15 minutes before done.
