Shrimp, scallops, chicken or vegetables for frying.

Sift together the dry ingredients.

Beat the egg slightly.

Add the water and incorporate into the egg.

Add the dry ingredients.

Stir only until mixed (just enough so it is a little lumpy).
7.
Dip your fish or vegetables into the batter.
8.
Fry the fish or vegetables until they are cooked.
9.
For the fish it should take about 4 minutes.
10.
Put on a plate with a paper towel to absorb extra oil.
