c. blackstrap molasses

c. maple syrup, Grade B

Then begin by mixing dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon). Then add the wet ingredients (molasses, maple syrup, applesauce, and soy milk) and mix well.

Peel and cut the apples into small, bite size pieces. Fold the apples into the muffin batter. Do not mix any more than necessary. Spoon the muffin batter into a muffin tin (greased or lined with muffin cups), filling each cup completely full.

Bake at 400F for 25 minutes or until done.
