Cups of extra long grain white rice
Directions

bring 2 1/2 cups of water to boil

wash rice, once the water is boiling add the rice (flame is still high)

add 1/4 cup of vegetable oil, stir
5.
Once the rice starts to bubble lower the flame to low setting (for electric- #3) cover the rice and let simmer for 15 minutes.
6.
Then, turn the rice- be sure NOT to scrape the bottom of the pot! then let cook or 10 more minutes. Turn off the stove and serve and enjoy! :)
