package of refrigerated sugar cookie dough

leave the dough at room temp for 15 min. add the food coloring and flour to the dough and beat w an electric mixer until evenly colored. divide the dough in two, wrap each in plastic wrap and freeze for 20 min.

preheat oven to 350 F grease cookie sheets. roll all the dough out to about 3/8 in. thick cut w 3in cookie cutters (fluted)and place on cookie sheet. cut out centers of half of the dough. cut out teardrop shapes around wreaths and bake cookies for 10 min. let cool, spread icing and place tops and bottoms together
