Chelo's is a great place to go for a burger for lunch or a good steak for dinner. It's kind of like a Ruby Tuesday's or Applebee's but is owned and operated by a family out of RI. It has the typical american comfort food. The food tastes great and the prices are great! I highly recommend!

Chelo's is definitely a great restaurant for a casual night out but the experience is much like what you would have at Chili's. Though it has better service than most Chili's restaurants I've been to, the food is pretty sub par and the selection limited. My personal favorite is the steak burger, which I order most times I go there. Sometimes it is the greatest thing I've ever tasted, a thick piece of moist steak between a burger bun with mushrooms and cheese. Other times it is this very thin, dry piece of steak. Thin cut steak isn't bad, but is it what you would expect in a "juicy" steak burger? They also should have warned me that day that they were cooking them with thin cut steaks because I would have ordered medium rare rather than medium well, as I like thin cut steak cooked differently. The prime rib is great but they run out of it kind of early on the weekends. Most of the appetizers are only meant for about two or three people so order a few if you have a large party. The fish meals they serve are not very good at all so I would go somewhere else if you are in the mood for fish. Though this isn't the best review, I do admit I love Chelo's and eat there often, but if you really want to get your money's worth in quality, this is not the best choice.
