Being raised by her Father Gian Franco Volpi, a restauranteur and gourmet Italian chef, he taught her at a very young age the importance of Family, Laughter, Good Times and Great Italian Food. In 1996 Kira became a restauranteur herself, applying all that she learned from her Father about choosing the best quality ingredients and preparing them in a way that pleases the eye as well as the pallet. Later in life Kira had the opportunity to live in Italy.
