Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
1/8 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 tsp mini chocolate chips
Cookie sheets
Ziploc bag
Directions
meringue snowmen:
Heat oven to 200 F.
Line cookie sheets w/ parchment paper
In a bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar together with a mixer on medium.
Slowly add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time while beating on high.
When meringue is stiff and sugar is dissolved reduce the speed to low.
Beat in vanilla until well mixed.
Cut a 1/2 inch hole into the zip lock.
Put the meringue in there.
Close the bag
Squeeze the bag to form snowman shapes onto the cookie sheets
Use choc chips to add eyes and buttons
Bake for 2 hours.
Take out and allow to cool (about 10-15 min)
Remove from rack.
Eat.
