 Just not the same 

Powells Place 10 years ago was probably one of the best soul food spots in the city. It was definately a Sunday afternoon favorite. The fried catfish and greens are my favorite items. When Powells moved over to Eddys St. the upgrade were quite nice and I had high hopes for this spot. Now Powells has rellocated to Velma's on Jerrold Ave and has taken a major dive for the worst. The cooks have changed and so the quality of food is not the same. The serivce is definitely not up to par. What this place needs is a Savior and someone with a little professionalism.
