My husband's favorite
My husband grew up in a German/Danish household, so visiting the Bohemian Cafe was his idea of heaven on earth. The food is on the heavy side, and a little too salty for my taste, but if you like sweet and sour cabbage and sauerbraten, you'll love it here.
The wait staff has been there for years, and you will find them in coversation with customers who have been coming there just as long. The service is quick. The dining room probably hasn't changed much since the mid-50's, and you have to love the collection of ceramic Jim Beam bottles in the entryway between the bar and the dining room.
Everyone needs to go to this south Omaha landmark at least once.
