I have never had a bad experience at Cracker Barrel. I love the lemonade and sometimes want to go there just for that. My extended family and I usually celebrate a birthday or 2 there every year. There is often a wait for a table at dinner time and Sundays after church but it is easy to pass the time browsing in the Old Country Store and rocking on the porch in the comfortable rocking chairs. The kids love that they can play checkers in front of the fireplace and outside while waiting. The food is wonderful and the portions just right. The service is also great and everyone is friendly.
