Although Crackerbarrel is a chain restaurant, it is still a great place to find comfort food. Remember when your mom used to make turkey, mashed potatoes, corn and slather it with gravy --- well you can have that all at Crackerbarrel. Crackerbarrel meals average about $8.95 - $11.95 and have a good kids menu for about $5. Nothing would be complete without having the homemade apple cobbler. They also know how to keep the kids entertained while they wait for their food with table top games and checkerboards throughout. The only downside is that they do not take reservations so you may be in for wait on certain nights however that is never a problem as the restaurant is attached to an old fashioned general store. (very reasonably priced items)
