My family took me to Blue Ridge Grill for brunch one early Sunday afternoon. We had reservations, but due to the amount of people, we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. We sat in a lovely sunroom on the back end of the bar. We could have had cocktails, but due to the time of day and having our son with us, we opted out. I did, have a drink with my brunch, however. The Pomegranate Ginger Champagne cocktail was quite refreshing and fun. After that I went to sweet iced tea, served with simple syrup to sweeten to your taste. For the meal, I had the smoked salmon omelet, my husband had the crab cakes with bacon and corn chowder, and our son had the corned beef hash with eggs and bearnaise sauce. It was all so-o-o-o good. The server was fantastic and was able to tell us all a little about the dishes. He was great with our son, explaining things and letting him pick his own dish. It made for a great day.
