Back in the day, before the current owners were on board, their bagels were to die for. You could watch them boiling at the counter. Nowadays, Goldberg's is less Jewish deli and more generic, trying, apparently, to appeal to everyone and not succeeding in my opinion. They still have the best roast beef in town, and their matzo ball soup is the perfect antidote on a cold rainy day. And their po-boy style sandwich is still as good as ever.
