Salt Lick is one of the most overrated barbecue places in Austin. Sure, all you can eat is great, but it's pointless if the food is blah. The meats are generic and nothing special (and have too much gristle on them) and the sauce is way too sweet and vinegary. Plus, they should tell you up fron that they don't take credit cards instead of finding out you have to use an ATM at the end of your meal.
