I ate at this place one night with a friend and she didn't like it very much. First, we got a cheese, olive,and cracker appetizer, which was good, but expensive. Then I got a cheeseburger, which was really good and she got a veggie burger, which she did not like or eat. Overall the food was okay, not much to choose from and it's expensive.
Donna's serves a steady menu of traditional favorites like gourmet hamburgers, sandwiches, pizza, and quesadillas along with a special daily menu.
Often the best flavors are found in the special appetizers like the watermelon and feta cheese paring, or scallop and crab seviche.
Daily soups are also a special treat. At under $5 for a bowl they are large enough to make a meal especially when paired with an appetizer.
The weekend brunch is also delicious with the chef's take on many regular favorites like the blueberry corn pancakes, and poached egg salmon hash.
During the warmer months they have tables outside and with large garage style windows can creat an open air atmosphere.
Donna's is a great place for small groups of people that might not all enjoy the same type of foods. They offer the basics for a picky eater along with providing excitement and diversity in their offerings.
Great place! We eat here all the time. We even call in and pick up for dinner too. Always friendly and excellent service. The rotating sushi bar is great for a quick lunch/dinner sushi experience.
