This diner is a Berkeley legend. Located in the prosperous fourth street shopping area (nowhere near an ocean view), lines for a table on Sunday mornings are measured in hours. Get there very early to snag a seat and you won’t be sorry. With their specialty baked pancakes and a revolving cast of breakfast delicacies prepared with the skills of a four star restaurant, you will not leave hungry.
The food is spiced well, lots of flavor, and the servings are ample. Beer and wine are available to enjoy with your meal. The service is personal and prompt. The surroundings, as you can see by the photo of the booth are very bright and colorful. Overall a very good place to go when hunger strikes.
