I'm not a breakfast person. In fact, I mostly hate eating breakfast, unless of course it's not actual breakfast foods. But every so often I get a random craving for breakfasty items, and most recently, I satisfied that craving by heading to Venus.
All of the menu items looked so tasty that I had a hard time deciding what to order. Eventually, I settled on an a simple country breakfast with two eggs, a biscuit, and veggie sausage. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the vegetarian options (yes, I realized this was Berkeley, but I was still a little surprised by the ability to order veggie sausage). The server was really friendly and accommodating when I kept changing my mind and asking for other options and recommendations.
I will definitely return to this place again. Looking forward to my next breakfast craving! Though I imagine that their lunch and dinner options are tasty as well.
What a cool little place. I always thought a coffee shop in Grandview would be nice and what do you know it has been here the whole time right in the downtown area.
