From the outside of this place, it is hard to have expectations, but I don't think that there is much that prepares you for the inside. It is...interesting. There are all sorts of quirky little props here and there. The food, however, is nothing to laugh at. They get their name from their use of garlic in many dishes; Even garlic ice cream. Their garlic mashed potatoes are a must try.
