If you're just in the mood for a plain old sandwich and you think that sandwiches are healthy, you might not want to visit Panera. On the other hand, if you want a decadent, gourmet sandwich that is heavy and full of high-calorie additives, then you've come to the right place! My favorite thing to get there is the Asiago Cheese Bagel. It's inexpensive ($.99, before tax, I think) and very filling (plenty of calories in that). The "lowfat strawberry smoothie" is a complete rip-off--you actually see the person pouring strawberries, plain yogurt, and milk into a blender, then serving it to you.
