Although I would happily eat at Siam House for lunch or dinner on any day of the week, the best time to visit is on a weekday for lunch. They have a lunch buffet which is absolutely incredible: for abuot $7, you get to choose from at least 3 tofu curries, 2 meat curries, 3 noodle dishes (one is always Pad Thai), 2 kinds of rice, and a fascinating array of desserts and sides. My favorite thing on the buffet line is the sweet rice: I have no idea what's in it, but it is fruity and vegetabley and amazing. The little cinnamon fritters at the end of the line are also really tasty and addicting.
