The food is above expectations! Everything is good, from the miso soup and salad before the main course to all of the main course offerings! The tempura is light and crispy! The sukiyaki is sweet and good tasting and full of tender sliced beef. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Japanese food.
I agree..the service is slow. I used to love going downstairs to the bar. I bragged on it to friends, so I was embarassed when, one night, we went there and were never served. There were only 3 patrons. We left. I will never go back. They were too wrapped up serving the people setting up the band. The decor is deteriorating along with the service. Brandon's Pub is even worse. The drinks are outrageous and watered down and flat. I think they have a prejudice if you aren't a beer drinker. The deco
