We were amazed that a town as small as Wautoma, Wi could support a place as unique as The Duck Crossing. We visited again this past week after coming here 2 years ago. Once again the owners were very friendly and helpful. The wine selection is great and the cheeses and breads are fantastic. We opted for the cheese and fruit plate for lunch.and ended up with 4 selections of cheese including cheddar, triple creme brie, Feta with pesto and a morel /leek variety. It was accompanied by crusty french bread, red grapes and huge strawberries. Along with a glass of recommended red wine, it was a real treat. The owner who waited on us told us something about every cheese we ate as well as offering an appetizer recipe using the feta. It was a real feast that filled both me and my wife. Cost was less than $20 (this included the 2 glasses of very good wine!) Can't wait to go back and I would love to try one of their Sat. night dinners! Well worth the stop if your within 30 miles of Wautoma. Ken and Jean Crass
