User Reviews for Beacon Hill Bistro
Beacon Hill Bistro is a long, thin restaurant with a lot of tables. The restaurant is a bit bright, but the bar area is dimly lit and romantic. The back of the bar is a stained glass window that give the bar a church-like feel. The bar itself almost looks like dark pews. The bar is very small, no more than eight or ten seats. The cocktail menu is not super extensive, but the drinks are really good. BHB is expensive, but for fine french food it's worth it. I've had the pate plate and it's a great appetizer. The oysters rockafeller are also very good. My entre was not especially memorable, but I know it was good. This is a great place for apps or for an afternoon snack as that's when it's the least crowded. I have not eaten in the dining room, but I dont think I would want to because it's kind of bright and the tables are scrunched together in a row. The bathroom is downstairs and it's not nice compared to the restaurant, but it's just a bathroom. The food is very nice and the service is good. The bartender is very friendly and engaging. It seemed like there were several regulars at the bar. I would definitely recommend it.
