The atmosphere is nothing to write about in any of the Legals, but you go for the fish and it is worth the trip. A few things: if smoked bluefish pate is on the menu, get it. If you are getting soup (and you should), get the fish chowder, not the clam. The clam is fine, but not stunning as the fish is and you can get clam chowder anywhere. Order anything on the menu and you will love it. A particular fave is the pan-seared trout. Legal is what seafood should be.
All locations are always crowded.Good thing is that you can always reserve seats online and maybe wait a couple minutes.Went with friend.I had a shrimp cocktail as appetizer and lobster for main.My friend had spicy fish and chips.The food was fresh and cooked very well.Service was ok ,but kind a slow.For sea food lovers best place.
