Good, reasonably priced lunches, great spot on Newbury Street, and pretty knowledgable servers. A great spot for weekend brunch, as well.
Stephanie’s on Newbury is the place to see and be seen in Boston. Located on Newbury Street, it’s definitely where the high society of Boston go to eat brunch on a Sunday. Though it might seem a bit snobby there, the food is actually really good. I don’t feel that it’s overpriced, but it is expensive. The food is modern American with an upscale New England flare. I always get the seared tuna salad, but I think there are a lot of delicious options on their menu. The only drawback of Stephanie’s is that it’s super crowded during all the tiems that you want to go there. Brunch gets very crowded, and on a nice day the patio is PACKED. Just imagine how everyone comes out of the woodwork to walk down Newbury St. on a sunny day in Boston, and imagine that each one of those people stops in Stephanie’s to ask about the wait. It could be a while…
