This is a great place that attracts a wide array of customers. The service is generally pretty good, but I've had times where it can excellent, then other times where we've been forgotten and our server never comes back. Another time a server would come to take our order only to be chased away by another server asking the same question. Generally the wait can be anywhere from 0-30 minutes, but on especially busy nights I've heard them say the wait is an hour. If you decide to stick it out though, the wait is well worth it for the food and the price.

Food comes out fairly quickly and is always presented nicely. The best deals are always at lunch, particularly if you order a bento box which comes with an assortment of goodies. For example, the pork katsu bento lunch special comes with rice and pork katsu as the entree, as well as a small salad, fruit, gyoza, miso soup, and California roll (2 pieces) priced at about $9. If you order pork katsu for dinner, you don't get the sushi or gyoza, but you do get a more meat for $13.

Sushi options always seem fresh and if you'd like, I'm sure you can request an addition or removal of something in one of the rolls. Last orders are taken 30 minutes prior to closing.

Another plus is that it's 10% off if you have a student advantage card (given the number of colleges nearby).

I enjoyed my meal at Symphony Sushi. It was nothing super special, but it was good. It had a pretty standard sushi menu. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and miso soup. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but the decor is a step up from your average corner sushi stop. The location of this restaurant is ideal for Northeastern students, it's right off of the T. I'd say it's good for a sushi craving, but not for a night out.
