Fantastic Cambodian/French cuisine that's pretty darn authentic. Definitely try the loc lac beef and the fish amok for a real treat. They also offer cooking classes!
I went into this place with decent expectations, had the 3 course meal with wine pairing. Final result: over portion, nothing special about the dishes, decor had a nice French and Asian fusion, service was mediocre, and did I mention that the food was nothing special? Good concept but fall short of anything great.
A wonderfully creative menu combining Cambodian and French cuisines makes Elephant Walk one of the most inventive restaurants in Boston. Consistent over the years, using very fresh ingredients, the Cambodian food is authentic and incredibly tasty. The chilled avocado citrus soup is very tasty. I've also enjoyed the Cambodian rice soup. Desserts are nothing special so plan to seek that elsewhere. Very nice service.
