Tasca is a tapas restaurant in Brighton conveniently located right on the B Green Line (Washington St stop), although there is valet parking available. It's a very romantic atmosphere (candles, rustic murals, terra cotta-like walls, etc) and perfect for a date. They'll even have live music and/or flamenco dancing from time to time. Service is excellent and always polite and punctual. Their menu has a wide variety of tapas ranging from $4ish - $8ish (I recommend the goat cheese empanandas!). Although tapas portions are usually on the smaller size, the entree portions are pretty big and will definitely fill you up. Everything I've tried here is always delicious - I especially like the roast lamb! On Sundays, they have a great prix-fixe deal - your choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert, all for just $21.95. And if you sign up for their email list, they often send out $10 off coupons.
I Ate:
- roast lamb shank: fall-off-the-bone delicious ($19)
