I have been to sea on many occassions. The decor rocks, the food is quick and outstanding. Beware, they will not seat you until your entire party arrives, so don't invite friends that are perpetually late. Also, it gets quite crowded, so if you're there for the food, get there early. If you are there to mix and migle, get there later. Yum, Yum
Sea is cute and trendy. Definitely the place to go on a Friday night. The open bathroom is a little scarry, but cool. And the food - incredibly quick - and incredibly yummy...LOVE IT
I have been a fan of Sea for almost 3 years now. It is by far the best place to impress and entertain out of town guests and for group dining. Very hip and lively and loud.. expect to feel as if your entering some trendy club with house beats and don't expect to be seated right away if you arrive after 7pm. The food is very well plated and has excellent taste, the best part about it is the price! Sea is very affordable and surprisingly cheap. Make sure to try one of their Mojito's before leaving.
I visited Sea with some friends during a trip to NYC, and I was very impressed. The decor was incredibly trendy and well done. It was very classy but modern at the same time and definitely designed for a younger crowd. We got there early, and the food I found to be quite reasonably priced for the atmosphere of the restaurant. Towards the end of our meal the restaurant became extremely loud and crowded. I was happy that we showed up early, as I don't deal with very loud atmospheres very well. However, it was a good price for surprisingly delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere.
