We had an early reservation and after seeing all the folks waiting to be seated slightly later, would highly recommend having a specific time to get there. The location was really convenient to the State Fairgrounds where we were at for a dog show in early 2007. Right by the big Anderson Erickson Dairy cow and calf. The ambiance is lively, but the noise got to be overwhelming as the evening progressed and the place filled up. Had to yell to the people across the table. We had great service from the staff and the owner throughout the evening. Food was good and the evening special was not some heavy on pasta entree, but a good chicken that had imagination and great flavor. Appetizers were deep fried and pretty standard so nothing to write home about on those. I make a wicked tiramisu and always like to try what is available and found it to be adequate but not stellar. Portions were large on all courses and thought it was upper end of medium priced. Would revisit if traveling with folks that like Italian food.
