Joy Luck is probably the best Chinese food in central Johnson County.There are so many dive Chinese places in this area, but Joy Luck really shines. The food is really great. Whether you choose the buffet or the take out, it is always hot, fresh and tasty. It is apparent from the first bite that they spend more time and energy than the average place. They take extra effort (and spend the extra money) to ensure that their food tastes like it just left the wok and not like its been sitting on the steam table for 3 hours, unlike some other places. Their servers are polite and courteous, and never let your glass run dry. I never tip at buffets, but I will here because they take the extra effort. Their delivery is fast, free, and always, always correct. They often arrive more quickly than their estimated delivery time, too. The owners could spend a little money sprucing up the interior of the restaurant, but it's not that bad. At least you know the majority of the money is going back into the food.
