This was one of the best restaurants in Santa Barbara established in 1926. It held the oldest liquor license in the city, the first to be issued after prohibition. I worked there for about 4 years and worked closing night. It was a very sad night, and I will always remember The Casa fondly. Nowhere else could you get a fresh crab thermidor that was to die for! Luckly for me I have an original souvenir recipe book!
