About Avenues
Previously awarded AAA 5 diamonds and rated 4 stars by Chicago Magazine and Chicago Sun Times, Avenues features thoughtful, progressive cuisine prepared in an exhibition kitchen. Chef de Cuisine Curtis Duffy joined Avenues in April 2008. Duffy brings a wealth of experience with him from Alinea where he was Chef de Cuisine for Grant Achatz's world renwned restaurant. Previously he also worked at Charlie Trotter's and Trio; some of Chicago's best knwn restaurants. Let Wine Director, Michael Muser, suggest wines from two extensive wine display cabinets that enhance the ambiance created by the views overlooking Water Tower Square. The restaurant seats 72 guests and offers a private dining room that can accommodate up to 12 people. Avenues is located in The Peninsula Chicago, recently voted n. Two Hotel by Zagat's.
