The Francesca¯s family of restaurants is proud to annunce the opening of it¯s 20th location on Chestnut Street in Chicago¯s famous Gold Coast neighborhood. Located in the Seneca Hotel, the restaurant will bring its famous rustic, Italian cuisine to the 150-seat space. ¯We¯re so excited to return to our roots and open anther Chicago neighborhood spot,¯ says Francesca¯s Restaurants owner Scott Harris. ¯We opened our first location on Clark Street in Lakeview over 15 years ago, and it¯s very fitting that our 20th location should be in the Gold Coast.¯ Francesca¯s on Chestnut features an intimate trattoria setting with an antique Brunswick bar and a 40-person private dining room, complete with a private fireplace. Chef Armando Suarez will lead the kitchen, providing Francesca¯s classic fare of zesty, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio. The wine list and specialty drinks are equally impressive in this one-of-a-kind location.
