Forget the Melting Pot, Geja's has been doing fondue in Lincoln Park for years! We had a the classic four course meal of cheese, salad, oil then chocolate fondue, all of which came carefully prepared and very fresh. The menu is a bit limited compared to the Melting Pot (no both option of the main course, only oil fondue), but what they have they do well. Low lighting, an intimate setting and unique old world decor give Geja's a touch of class and the perfect spot for a romantic date. The fondue is served on trivets with burners, so if there wasn't already incentive to leave the kids at home, the possibility of them setting fire to the table should hammer this point in.

Prince Geja's Combination: Cheese fondue with bread, a salad, aged beef tenderloin, delicate lobster tail, jumbo shrimp, plump Atlantic sea scallops and tender boneless chicken breast served with veggies and dipping sauces, chocolate fondue with fruit and cake, coffee. ($49)
