Good Island's beer is great. Really great. It's a staple in Chicago and they have so many different brews to try. The food here is OK. It's about what you would expect from a family brewery/pub atmosphere with sit-down service - chicken fingers, BLTs, etc. I would suggest stopping in and just getting a few beers at the bar. If you have kids, they have a great root beer for them to try. This place is loud and noisy and there are a million TVs, just like what you would expect, but it's fun, and, like I said, the beer is fantastic.
