Harold's can do no wrong. Their fried chicken, both hot and mild is incredibly delicious. The price is just right (though they only take cash) and the food is usually served up pretty quickly. If you're not concerned about your health too much, Harold's chicken is an easy choice to make.
Harold’s Chicken Shack is the place to go. With many locations on the Southside of Chicago, the one of 53rd is a great spot. While I personally don’t go there for the gizzards or fish, the chicken is the best thing on the menu. Of course it couldn’t be Harold’s without the mild sauce!
Harold's Chicken is famous for a reason. It is because they are serving up some the best fried chicken in Chicago. Perfectly seasoned. Can be tossed with different sauces mild, hot and BBQ (I think) and comes on a piece of white bread. The breading is perfect, not too thick not too thin. Check your cholesterol at the door and go get some Harold's.
this has a really good plate called the grilled trio WOW!!!!!!!!!!! we have eaten here as much as twice a week and the steak is cooked correctly, the chickenis moist,and the grilled schrimp are not chewy. the help is good but you must ask for shrimp sauce,this is not giving them five stars. they allso keep your drink filled.
