User Reviews for McCormick & Schmicks Seafood - Chicago (Wacker Dr.)
The meals here are pretty good but they are not to die for. However, there are a few dishes here that are well worth trying:
Oysters: they are usually fresh and delicious, and you can add a small bottle of champagne for an extra fee. You can choose from several different types from all over North America!
I must warn you, however, that the last time I ate there I got a stomach flu. My stomach started aching a while after I ate the oysters, but I'm not sure the oysters caused my symptoms because I've eaten there multiple times and that was the only time I felt ill. I hadn't eaten much else all day.
Chocolate Bag: this dessert is not officially on the dessert menu. I think this is because it is not always available. However, it is the best dessert I have ever had! It is great for chocolate-lovers: a solid chocolate bag with chocolate mousse and berries inside!
The service is usually good, and the ambiance is casual chic. Usually the crowd is on the old side: couples, coworkers. I'd say the age range is usually late 20s upward.
It's a little hard to find because it's near a confusing intersection, so make sure you look out for the sign!
