I have never been overly impressed with Marlowes. The food is average, the wait staff a bit stuffy. I guess it would be a good place to impress a new girlfriend or something but it's too pretentious to be any fun. My advice is to head next door to the paramount cafe, better food, better atmosphere!
This is a fantastic dining experience, The filet I had pits rare was done perfectly and the wine list covers any eventuality with style. The service was outstanding, prompt but not overbearing.
