We live in Houston and have wanted to stop at Al T's on our way to or from Florida for several years, but it was either too early or too late in the day to stop. This trip, March 2, 2005 the time was right. The waitress that waited on us was good, the food was good, stick with the house specialities of seafood. We were finished and was directed to pay at the front, which seemed to be what everyone else was doing, but when we got in line a waitress had 5-6 different tabs in her hand to pay and we had to wait for all of them to be rang through. Then when it was our turn to pay the little girl behind the counter started stressing out about someone else's bill and just threw our receipt at us and ran from the desk, no thank you, no good buy. I am in the business of customer service and this was an example of not caring if someone will return to the establishment. Everything was good and went very well until the very last minutes of the experience that really makes one wonder
