You have to eat both the Paul Bunyon and the Touchdown special if you visit the Clock, an iHOP-ish, Denny-esque chain of diner. Their food is comfort food, which means it may have long-term adverse health effects, and their service is very friendly. They kept the coffee coming and the open faced turkey sandwich took me back to the days of childhood Thanksgiving leftovers.
Clocked. How can something so greasy and overpriced be loved by so many? I ordered a falafel sandwich, side of cajun tots, a soda, and two strips of bacon. Total = $12.00. The tots came out plain, not cajun. They forgot the bacon. They did bring me an extra serving of grease and oil at no charge, which was a nice touch. Then they added an extra $1.25 to the total, but the waiter kindly removed the extra charge. The trendy restaurant is riding only on its retro-cool atmosphere, cooler-than-thou
