I first went to Obelisk many years ago and thought it was one of the most wonderful restaurants in DC, with its small menu and excellent wine list. Recently I returned, and to be honest, I think it has lost some of its lustre. While still excellent, it is no longer quite as singular as before. In fact, I thougt the food lacked imagination. In additon to the small courses (amuse bouche, mushroom ravioli, and cheese for desser) I had Roast Duck, my friend Grilled Snapper. Admittedly the food was
