Excellent Japanese food buffet located in Manoa shopping center. The wide range of sushi choices makes this buffet a must for Japanese food lovers. Not to mention the price! Parking is plentiful and the location is great. From traditional shrimp tempura to miso soup and shaved ice desert, this restaurant has it all.
This place has TERRIBLE service! Signs say Kids Eat Free but they charged us $21 for my 9 year old daughter! They said the price is based on height but they never said anything when we walked in. When we asked about the charge, the manager said he would take care of the problem by measuring my daughter with a tape measure to prove that she is taller than 4 1/2 feet tall! I feel like they should have informed us of the full adult price when we walked in. They knew they would charge us that amount and we were lured in with the Kids Eat Free sign. They were dishonest from the beginning and unwilling to bend. I would have gladly paid the kids fee but charging the full adult fee was absolutely ridiculous. I would never eat there again and would not recommend it to anyone else!
Da Marco's is simply the best restaurant in Houston and I have eaten at every major one in the city and some of the best restaurants in Europe so I feel qualified to say that. My opinion is supported by some of the top food magazines as well. Lunch is the best value for your money anywhere.
