Everyone in Hawaii eats at Zippy's. At first, it was one of the few 24 hour restaurants, but now it is a staple of island life. They have expanded from just a restaurant to fund raising (chili) and a bakery (Napolean's Bakery). A must have is their Zip pack, which consists of fried chicken, rice, spam, fish and teri beef. Conveniently located all over Oahu and now on Maui.
This is a Hawaiian Island fast food staple. Most of their locations are on Oahu but I think they have one in Maui. When ever I visit I have to eat here. The chili dogs, fried chicken and Mac salad good well with the mexican coke we smuggled in. People have said it verges on the edge of parody but it is what you get. A pretty affordabled fast food joint with some great history. The prices are a bit high but it's worth it.
